Dr. Linda Speizer has over 30 years of experience in veterinary medicine and provides compassionate in-home pet euthanasia services in Fredericton, Douglas, Oromocto, and surrounding New Brunswick communities. After graduating from the Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine (Boston, MA), she worked for several years as an associate and locum veterinarian before purchasing a veterinary hospital in New Brunswick in 2007. After selling the practice a few years ago, she now operates KindHearted Pet Euthanasia, focusing on peaceful end-of-life care for pets in the comfort of their homes.
Throughout her career, Dr. Speizer has performed many euthanasia procedures in both veterinary hospital and home settings. Her goal in establishing KindHearted Pet Euthanasia is to provide a gentle, pain-free end-of-life experience for pets while offering compassionate support to families in Fredericton, Douglas, Oromocto, and nearby areas.
Further, Dr. Speizer offers assistance for Palliative and Hospice care. The aim is to help families with the difficult decision-making process of when “it is time”.
Dr. Speizer is a member of the International Association for Animal Hospice and Palliative Care (IAAHPC), the New Brunswick Veterinary Medical Association (NBVMA), the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA), the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), and the Feline Veterinary Medical Association (FelVMA).
