If you purchase services or supplies, your payment processor may collect and store data pertaining to those purchases. We share information with selected third parties who help us provide services to you; for example names of pet owners and pets are shared with Cherished Pets so that they can properly handle your pets’ remains. Web information services, such as Google, may track your visit.

Memorials

When clients provide us with memorials for their pets, we share the text of the memorial and the photos on our site. Client names and contact information are not shown.

Media

If you provide images to us for the website pet memorial page, note that if images contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS), visitors to the website can potentially download and extract any location data from those images. We use the plugin “Strip Image Metadata” to remove embedded information from pet photos you provide to us.

Cookies

If you visit our site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

How long we retain your data

For users that purchase services or supplies from our website, we store the contact information customers provide in order to deliver services. Pet medical information is not stored on the website but is retained separately using guidelines established by the New Brunswick Veterinary Medical Association.

What rights you have over your data

You can request to receive an exported file of the contact data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any contact data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Payments
We accept payments through e-transfer and credit cards. Your bank and credit card processor will store your name and the amount and date of the transaction. We do not retain or store that information on our site.
